Introduction to Shooting Class I – Youth Class

This introductory course is designed to help young students build a safe foundation in shooting fundamentals. Under the direct supervision of a certified NRA Rifle Instructor and a Range Safety Officer, students will gain hands-on experience in both classroom and live-fire settings.

Participants will learn the basics of handling and safely operating a .22 caliber bolt-action rifle, building confidence and responsibility along the way. Rifle rentals and ammunition are provided. Parents are encouraged to attend but are not required.

  • Firearm safety and handling

  • .22 caliber bolt-action rifle operation

  • Range rules and etiquette

  • Supervised live-fire session

Requirements:

  • Open to youth participants

  • Light physical activity (standing, lifting)

  • No prior experience necessary

  • Rifle rental and ammo included

Max: 10 students per class
